Biography

Before joining Southampton Business School, Nunung worked as a lecturer at Aston Business School, where she funded her doctoral degree through the Islamic Research Training Institute - Islamic Development Bank (IRTI-IDB). She spent 10 years at the University of Al Azhar Indonesia, serving as a lecturer and the head of the Accounting Department. Her work has focused on curriculum development in Islamic Finance and Islamic Accounting, leading to the creation of IFRS-based Accounting curricula for Postgraduate Islamic Finance Programs. Nunung has actively engaged in research and academic projects, contributing to the fields of ethics, organization, and financial reporting, especially within the context of Islamic accounting and finance.
