Biography

Özge Hacıfazlıoğlu is an adjunct professor in Leadership Programs at the Berkeley School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley. She has been an influential figure in academic leadership for over 20 years, previously serving as a professor and vice rector at Hasan Kalyoncu University, as well as interim dean and associate dean at various institutions in Turkey. Dr. Hacıfazlıoğlu has a strong foundation in educational administration, having earned her PhD from Marmara University. Her research interests encompass higher education leadership, teacher education, principal preparation, and the education of marginalized and underrepresented populations. She has contributed significantly to the field through her articles published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Teacher Education and the International Journal of Doctoral Studies, among others. Dr. Hacıfazlıoğlu is also active in international academic circles, having served as a visiting scholar and held leadership positions in professional associations focused on teacher education and development.
