Dr. Parisa Aasi

Biography

Parisa Aasi is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, specializing in management information systems. As a qualitative researcher, she focuses on the organizational aspects of management information systems and employs case studies in her research. Parisa has extensive experience working as a senior business analyst in a consultancy firm, allowing her to gather a wealth of case studies. She is adept at navigating and understanding international environments and cultures. Additionally, she has been a research visitor at Baylor University, where she has been involved in aligning organizational culture with information systems strategy through case-based teaching and research. Prior to her current role, she served as an educational assistant professor at Stockholm University from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a Business Technology Senior Analyst at Sofigate from 2019 to 2021. She was also a visiting scholar at Baylor University's MIS department from 2016 to 2017.
