Dr. Pascale Fricke

Biography

Pascale Fricke is a Lecturer at the UNSW Business School, with a PhD in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona. Pascale's research examines the interplay between social tensions, employee well-being, and sense of identity, particularly in essential service occupations. She is interested in how employees in these roles, which are critical to societal operations, navigate intense public scrutiny and face an increased risk of mental health issues. Her research utilizes both qualitative and quantitative methods to enhance the well-being of employees in these occupations and to improve their performance at work, ultimately resulting in beneficial effects for society.
