Biography

Paul Axelrod began teaching at York University in 1982. He was tenured and promoted to associate professor in 1987 and appointed full professor in 1994. During his career, he served as Chair of the Division of Social Science from 1989 to 1993 and Dean of the Faculty of Education from 2001 to 2008. His scholarly works delve into the history of schooling, higher education, and policy development in public and post-secondary education, as well as student and youth experiences.
