Dr. Pauline Weritz

Biography

Pauline Weritz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, focusing on Responsible Digital Transformation within the Entrepreneurship Technology Management Section. She obtained her Ph.D. (cum laude) in Business, Innovation, and Sustainability from Ramon Llull University, Spain. Pauline has also held positions as a visiting researcher in the Information Systems Department at Boston College and the Copenhagen Business School. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Organizational Behavior, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship, exploring the framework of digital transformation and its impact on organizations and employees. She is particularly focused on topics like leadership, culture, and ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities in the digital age, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods. Additionally, Pauline is a co-founder of a digital consultancy called vaerk, which connects people and digital tools through creative methods to foster change. She frequently speaks at conferences and events on megatrends, future work, and empowering women.
