Biography

Petra Bernardini is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in Italian Studies at Lund University, specializing in language acquisition and bilingualism. Her research focuses primarily on morphosyntactic aspects of language, particularly within the context of noun phrases, articles, and pronouns, as well as written code-mixing in bilingual speech. Bernardini has contributed to the understanding of written nouns and adjectives within the Italian language, exploring their relationships according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) at morphosyntactic levels A1-C2. She has a solid background in research projects related to Mother Tongue Instruction and has supported various aspects of teaching and training in the field of language education.
