Biography

Quintin Cutts is a Professor of Computer Science Education at the University of Glasgow. His research is focused on computer science education, particularly the use of technology to enhance face-to-face teaching and learning environments. He has been involved in the development of school curricula in computer science and has contributed to the new Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland, as well as initiatives in England and internationally. Professor Cutts has received several awards for learning and teaching excellence, demonstrating a commitment to deeply engaging students in their studies at various levels. He serves on the Academic Board and assists in the work of the National Centre for Computing Education, which is supported by £84 million in UK Government funding, and is part of the UK's Digital Skills research working group.
