Dr. Rabih Younes

Biography

Rabih Younes is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. His academic journey includes earning a Master of Science from the Lebanese American University in 2013 and a Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2018. He specializes in the design and implementation of engineering curricula, particularly through innovative pedagogies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Younes possesses a diverse research portfolio that merges fields such as wearable technology, human activity recognition, machine learning, and educational methodologies in engineering. His work has significantly contributed to both academic literature and practical applications, including non-invasive wearable technologies for physiological measurement and predictive algorithms for student performance based on engagement metrics.
