Dr. Rex Bentley

Biography

Rex Colle Bentley is a Professor in the Department of Pathology at Duke University School of Medicine and a member of the Duke Cancer Institute. His research focuses on outcome-based studies in pathology, particularly concerning endometrial carcinoma, where he investigates the prognostic significance of histologic features and the implications of molecular and genetic alterations in neoplasms. Bentley has contributed significantly to the classification and understanding of endometrial carcinoma variants and atypia. He also conducts collaborative research into oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes related to this malignancy. Furthermore, his expertise extends to ovarian pathology, where he evaluates molecular genetic alterations.
