Dr. Rita Orji

Biography

Rita Orji is a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). With extensive research in persuasive technology and systems designed to facilitate behavior change, her work aims at creating user-centered technologies that improve individual and community health. She explores the intersection of games, technology, and behavior in various contexts to drive positive change. Orji’s research projects often focus on personalized adaptive systems and their implications for health and development. By investigating Internet behavior, social public goods, and the technology behind behavior change, she contributes to advancing the field of HCI.
