Biography

Ryan Tyler Martinez is an architectural designer, curator, painter, and educator based in Los Angeles. Since joining the faculty at the University of Southern California, he has worked with Gehry Partners, LLP and the Harvard Graduate School of Design as a freelance filmmaker. Martinez has taught internationally in India, China, and the United States, and has held faculty positions at the University of California, Berkeley College of Environmental Design, SCI-Arc, and the Woodbury School of Architecture. He served as director of Wedge Gallery from 2018 to 2021 and was a guest curator for the Program at A+D Museum in Los Angeles, where he curated exhibitions at WUHO in Hollywood.
