Dr. Sadegh Talebi

Biography

Sadegh Talebi is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Machine Learning Section within the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Automatic Control at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he was supervised by Alexandre Proutiere and Mikael Johansson. Additionally, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Electronics from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2004 and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Communication Systems from Sharif University of Technology in 2006. Before starting his PhD, Sadegh worked as a research engineer at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM). His research interests encapsulate the theoretical aspects of reinforcement learning, Markov decision processes, online learning, stochastic multi-armed bandits, and resource allocation in networks.
