Safinah Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Administration, Leadership, and Technology at New York University Steinhardt. Her work has demonstrated that students showed growth in AI knowledge and interest in careers related to AI through engaging curricula. She has published her work in several academic journals and peer-reviewed conferences, including Computers in Education, International Journal of Child-Computer Interaction, Frontiers in Robotics and AI, and many more. Safinah is a recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award in 2024 and the Microsoft Research Fellowship from 2022 to 2024, highlighting her commitment to creating inclusive classroom environments.
