Sally Wyatt originally studied economics at McGill University, Canada, and Sussex University, England. She received her PhD in science and technology studies from Maastricht University in 1998. Throughout her career, Wyatt has worked at several universities, including Sussex (1980-1986), Brighton (1988-1990), East London (1990-1999), and Amsterdam (1999-2006). She was also affiliated with the British Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) from 1986 to 1988. Additionally, Wyatt was the international coordinator for the ESST (European Master’s Programme Society, Science and Technology) from 1996 to 1999 and served as its President from 2008 to 2011. In her current role, she holds the position of Professor of Digital Cultures and serves as the Associate Dean for research at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
