Biography

Sanjay Khanna is an Adjunct Lecturer in Political Science at McMaster University, where he also serves as a member of the advisory board for the Master of Public Policy in Digital Society Program. He is the Chief Futurist at SK Futures Inc., a strategic foresight consultancy focusing on enhancing the resiliency of individuals, organizations, and communities. In addition to his teaching role, Khanna is actively involved in various advisory committees, including the External Advisory Committee for the UCAR Community Programs and the External Advisory Group for Humanitarian Action, Climate, and Environment with Doctors Without Borders Canada. Furthermore, he acts as an expert reviewer for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's Working Group II, which addresses the impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability due to climate change. Khanna holds degrees from the University of Oxford in the Oxford Scenarios Programme and from the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Bachelor of Education.
