Biography

Sébastien Rioux is an associate professor in the Department of Geography at the Université de Montréal. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Political Economy of Food and Well-being and is a member of the Centre d'études et de recherches internationales (CÉRIUM) and the Centre de recherche en éthique (CRÉ). His research interests include the impact of food policies on the environment, labor, and health. He has published several works, including 'Introduction aux études sur le travail mondial' with M. Rioux is involved in numerous graduate student theses and has supervised various research projects focusing on sustainable agriculture and food security.
