Biography

Shailaja Fennell is a Professor of Economic Security Resilience in the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. She holds a B.A. and M.Phil. in Economics from Delhi University and has further obtained another M.Phil. and a PhD in Economics from Cambridge. Fennell is also a Fellow at Jesus College and serves as Director of the Centre of South Asian Studies.
