Biography

Shelly Kemp is a Senior Lecturer in Online Education within the Department of Psychology at King's College London. She joined the university in March 2023 and teaches on various distance learning programmes such as MSc Applied Neuroscience and MSc Psychology Neuroscience Mental Health. Shelly earned her PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool in 2012. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Shelly leads large modules focusing on Research Skills and Mental Health, supervises MSc projects, and is actively involved in curriculum development for distance learning programmes. She is recognized for her contributions to public engagement and is a champion for educational development initiatives. Shelly also founded the UK Creativity Researchers network, aimed at fostering collaboration in the field.
