Biography

Simon Li is an Associate Professor at the University of Calgary. He holds a BASc (Honours) in mechanical engineering and MASc and PhD degrees in mechanical and industrial engineering from the University of Toronto. Before joining the University of Calgary, he worked at the University of New Brunswick and Concordia University. He has held the NSERC Chair in Design Engineering (co-chair) and currently holds the Chair in Engineering Education Innovation at the Schulich School of Engineering. Simon has published over 60 conference and journal papers in areas including engineering design, operations research, systems engineering, building energy systems, and engineering education.
