Biography

Skye is a newly hired Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto, beginning teaching in the Fall 2025 term. Currently, Skye is completing a PhD in Mathematics and Statistics at Queen's University, where they also earned an MSc. Prior to that, Skye completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematics at Trent University. Skye is passionate about helping others develop an understanding of statistics, believing that anyone can enjoy the process, regardless of their previous feelings towards mathematics. As they settle into their new position, Skye is excited to explore topics related to alternative assessment and universal design, and aspires to deliver courses that are accessible, welcoming, and fun.
