Biography

Soheila Malekpour is a Lecturer in Finance at King's Business School, King's College London, having joined in September 2019. Before her tenure at King's, she held an academic position at the University of Surrey. Her research interests focus on behavioral finance, asset pricing, taxation, learning development, and higher education pedagogy. Soheila has a PhD in Finance from the University of Surrey and an MRes in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). At King's, she teaches various undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including Introduction to Accounting, Introduction to Management Accounting, and Taxation. Her teaching has been recognized with nominations for the King's Education Award. Additionally, she is currently accepting new PhD students.
