Stefan Kycia is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Guelph. He obtained his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Iowa State University in 1995. His group is involved in the study of nanoscience, atomic structures, and diffraction in various epitaxial systems and protein crystals. Kycia has developed innovative methods for solving complex issues in crystallography, contributing significantly to infrastructure and research capabilities in the Canadian light source community.
