Biography

Steven Broglio is a Professor and the Associate Dean for Graduate Student Affairs in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan. He has been with the university since 2011, where he also serves as the Director of the U-M Concussion Center and the NeuroTrauma Research Laboratory. Broglio completed his training at the University of Georgia and has held a faculty position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on mild traumatic brain injury, including prevention, biomechanics, assessment, treatment, and postural control. He has received numerous research accolades from the International Brain Injury Association, National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Brain Injury Association of America, and has served as president of the International Concussion Sport Group. His expertise lies in the clinical care, educational outreach, and multidisciplinary research aimed at fundamental questions in concussion management and outcomes.
