Dr. Susan Goldrick

Biography

Susan Goldrick is a Lecturer in Education at the University of Manchester, where she also serves as Programme Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education Studies. She integrates her role across various programs including the School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT). Goldrick has extensively focused on developing teacher-led research networks through her leadership in the Coalition Research Schools, which aims to enhance educational practices in partnership with local schools. Over the years, she has been a significant figure in various educational projects, including the European Project ‘Responding to Diversity: Engaging Student Voices’, which actively involves teachers, academics, and students across Europe. Her commitment to equity in education has been highlighted through her work leading a district research network and publishing a book titled ‘Developing Equitable Education Systems’. With over 16 years of experience in secondary and post-compulsory education, Goldrick has actively contributed to initiatives aimed at integrating e-learning into teacher education, collaborating on international projects to advance teachers' skills through online programs. Her expertise aligns closely with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in fostering high-quality education.
