Svetlana Korshunova received her candidate of sciences degree, equivalent to a PhD, from Moscow State Pedagogical University in 1992. At Princeton University, she teaches various levels of Russian language and has coordinated the Russian Heritage Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Her teaching and research focus primarily on heritage language pedagogy and the identity issues of heritage language learners.
