Tawnya D. Smith is an integrative researcher who explores how expressive arts principles promote holistic learning, wellbeing, and sustainability in music education settings. With an extensive background in qualitative methodology, she has collaborated on numerous research projects spanning music and arts education. Her current research focuses on trauma, mental health, LGBTQIA+ issues, and ecopsychology, all informed by music learning in the context of ecojustice.
