Biography

Taylor Koss is a deaf instructor specializing in American Sign Language (ASL) education. Born deaf to hearing parents, Taylor graduated from the Wisconsin School for the Deaf and went on to pursue higher education. With a BA in ASL Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a degree in World Language Education, Taylor is dedicated to teaching ASL at the high school level in Madison. He holds ASL certification and has worked in various roles advocating for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Taylor is also a member of the USA Deaf Track & Field team and has been a successful Deaflympian, using his experiences to enhance his teaching and mentor students. His journey reflects a commitment to promoting awareness and sensitivity towards the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
