Biography

T. Hui Teo graduated with a Master of Engineering and Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University in 2000 and 2009 respectively, specializing in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He has extensive industry experience, having worked as a senior Integrated Circuits (IC) designer at notable companies, including Sharp, ST-Microelectronics, and Intelligent Micro-Devices (Matsushita). Prior to his current position at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, he was a principal investigator in advanced IC design R&D at the Institute of Microelectronics, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Since 2010, he has contributed to the education sector by developing Analog and Digital IC design courses and laboratories at the Technical University of Munich, Asia. His research interests focus on IC design, device characterization, and modeling in design science education. T. Hui is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
