Biography

T. Hui Teo graduated with a Master of Engineering and a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University in 2000 and 2009 respectively, specializing in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has extensive industry experience since 1996, having worked with Sharp, ST-Microelectronics, and Intelligent Micro-Devices (Matsushita) as a senior Integrated Circuits (IC) designer. Prior to joining the education sector, he served as a principal investigator in advanced IC design research and development at the Institute of Microelectronics, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore. In 2010, he transitioned to academia where he set up Analog and Digital IC design courses and laboratories at the Technical University of Munich, Asia. Currently, he is affiliated with the Singapore University of Technology and Design, focusing on both education and research. His research interests encompass IC design, device characterization and modeling, and design science education. T. Hui is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
