Biography

Teresa M. Chan is the Founding Dean of the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine and serves as TMU’s Vice-President of Medical Affairs. A former Associate Dean at McMaster University, she has been instrumental in medical education with a focus on innovative approaches and social justice advocacy. As a practicing emergency physician since 2013, Dr. Chan combines her clinical experience with her educational initiatives to enhance medical training.
