Biography

Thibaut Lamadon is an Associate Professor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on labor markets, earnings dynamics, productivity shocks, firm-worker interactions, and methodological advances in econometrics. Recent projects have explored the effects of productivity shocks on long-term contracts, the role of imperfect competition in rent sharing, and the estimation of firm effects on worker sorting. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, he was a fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute in Chicago. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from University College London in 2014.
