Biography

Thomas Brown is an Associate Professor at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. His professional interests encompass clinical pharmacy and education curriculum development. Previously, he held several leadership roles including director of the PharmD Pharmacists program and the combined Bachelor of Pharmacy (BScPhm)–PharmD program. He has contributed significantly to the development and redesign of pharmacy programs. Brown has extensive experience in clinical pharmacy, particularly in women's health issues such as hormone replacement therapy, emergency contraception, and osteoporosis. His scholarly output includes numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and he has presented at various conferences and meetings across Canada and internationally. Additionally, Brown has been actively involved in advisory boards and committees, serving as an editorial board member and consultant for the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
