Biography

Tien Ha-Ngoc Jiang is an Assistant Professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology. Dr. Jiang has expertise in education and prosthodontics, teaching pre-doctoral students in clinical practices at HSDM, and providing instruction in private practice. Dr. Jiang earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree from Harvard and then moved to the Midwest to specialize in prosthodontics. He completed a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Education. His research interests focus on interprofessional education practices, health literacy, patient education, and curricular reform. In 2023, he was awarded a Harvard School of Dental Medicine Fellowship in honor of Aina M. Auskaps, DMD for his work in health communication and patient education.
