Biography

Tina Peterson began her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado in 2000. She completed her graduate degree at the University of Nottingham and earned her Doctorate in Mass Media Communication from Temple University. Her dissertation focused on visual communication, food-media literacy, and self-efficacy. After accepting an offer from the University of Texas at Austin, she lectured at Rice University, covering topics such as ethics in computer science and professional communication in engineering.
