Biography

Todd C. Edwards has extensive experience in developing and applying patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in both adult and pediatric medicine, including pharmaceutical and surgical interventions within clinical research. His research areas include cystic fibrosis, chronic kidney disease, low back pain, peripheral artery disease, urethral stricture, craniofacial conditions, dentistry, autism, obesity, and deafness. Edwards has contributed to the development and validation of observer-reported outcomes (ObsROs) for patients who can report their past experiences and has co-investigated within the NIH PROMIS Roadmap Initiative, focusing on integrating patient-reported information into HIV clinical care. He is also involved in teaching courses on Assessing Outcomes in Health Medicine and Survey Methods in Mixed Methods Research.
