Dr. Toni Ungaretti

Biography

Toni Ungaretti is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Education Health Professions Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Education. She has implemented the Master of Education for the Health Professions program and co-teaches clinical teaching seminars for Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Fellows at the School of Medicine. Dr. Ungaretti has contributed significantly to the development and delivery of the course titled 'Principles and Practices of Medical Education' at the School of Medicine. Prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Dean at the Office of Learning within the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and was Associate Dean and Co-Director of the Division of Business Undergraduate Studies in the School of Professional Studies in Business and Education. Additionally, she chaired the Department of Teacher Development and Leadership. Dr. Ungaretti has developed a Master of Science in Math and Science Education and designed the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, while also establishing professional development schools across the nation. Her research interests encompass education professionals in business and medicine, interdisciplinary education, international education, and corporate-university partnerships.
