Dr. Tore Sorensen

Biography

Tore Bernt Sorensen is a lecturer at the University of Glasgow's School of Education, where he focuses on issues surrounding contemporary education governance. His research interest spans globalisation and global education governance, public policy analysis, and the teaching profession. Tore is completing his PhD at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol, and has amassed valuable experience through his involvement in various research projects in different academic settings. He has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Berlin and at Jagiellonian University in Poland. His work has been extensively published in academic journals and edited collections, with a forthcoming book on the teaching profession in a globalized world slated for publication by Routledge. He emphasizes dialogue in his supervision of Masters, PhD, and EdD students, guiding them to pursue their research interests and develop into adept researchers and academics.
