Tracy joined the University of Waterloo's School of Pharmacy as a clinical preceptor in 2016 and became a Regional Clinical Coordinator in Sault Ste. Marie in 2019. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy in 2003. Initially, she started her career as a retail pharmacist before discovering her passion for clinical pharmacy at Sault Area Hospital (SAH) in Sault Ste. Marie. Tracy works predominantly as a clinical pharmacist in renal oncology and outpatient programs, along with being involved in inpatient medical units and retail pharmacy at SAH's iCcare Pharmacy. Over the past decade, her role as a renal pharmacist has evolved, where she has developed patient education initiatives and managed medical directives for anemia, as well as medication reconciliation in the hemodialysis unit nephrology clinic. Tracy is passionate about learning and teaching and feels honored to be part of the University of Waterloo’s Experiential Learning Program, ensuring PharmD students have meaningful clinical rotations that enhance their professional and personal development while providing exceptional patient care.
