Dr. Trung Bui

Biography

Trung Dung Bui is a Research Fellow at the School of Primary and Allied Health Care, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. He completed his PhD in Medical Studies, focusing on the feasibility and usability of augmented reality technology for situational tele-mentorship in managing clinical scenarios. Trung has extensive experience in management and leadership positions across diverse healthcare fields, including Medical Education, Information Technology, Quality Management, Simulation Skill Training, and Research projects. His research interests encompass health technology, medical education, and project management in healthcare. His work involves the development of research and education service activities at the National Centre for Healthy Ageing, along with projects at the Independent Living Laboratory and other facilities within the Monash University Peninsula Campus. He actively contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in education and healthcare. Trung is also engaged in various research collaborations and has led significant projects addressing telehealth, medical education, and rural health challenges.
