Dr. Tuba Ketenci

Biography

Tuba Ketenci is a Senior Academic Professional at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Technology with a minor in Quantitative Methodologies from Georgia State University in 2018, alongside an M.A. in Educational Studies from Edgewood College in 2011. Additionally, she holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Business Administration from Bilgi University in Istanbul, Turkey. Her areas of expertise include instrument development, social network analysis, and quantitative methods in educational research, with a concentration on Hierarchical Linear Modeling and Structural Equation Modeling. Her research primarily aims to enhance K-12 engineering education, focusing on curriculum improvement and the development of assessments that foster computational thinking in technology-enhanced learning environments. As part of her graduate studies, she directed research to evaluate the impact of engineering curriculum on students’ development of 21st-century skills, and she is actively involved in a research group that examines social network analysis to understand leadership dynamics in online education settings.
