Tyler Webster is a native Texan and currently serves as a Lecturer in Clarinet at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin. An advocate for contemporary music, Dr. Webster is a member of Homegrown, a new music ensemble that promotes local composers through multi-sensory experiences. Passionate about composition and arrangement since the age of 10, he focuses on writing chamber music and etudes to expand the clarinet repertoire. His recent project, "Stories," is a collection comprising seven sonatas written for close friends.
