Upenyu S. Majee is the inaugural director of the Institute of Ubuntu Thought and Practice (IUTP) at Michigan State University (MSU). He is a member of the Comparative International Education Society and the African Studies Association. His significant projects include "Ubuntu AI: Integrating African Indigenous Knowledge Systems with Emerging Technologies," funded by the Alliance African Partnership. His work aims to explore the multidimensional aspects of Ubuntu philosophy, fostering collaborations among scholars and practitioners across disciplines and continents.
