Professor Dr. Vadim Geurkov

Biography

Vadim Geurkov is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. His research focuses on reconfigurable computing systems, emphasizing error detection and correction for critical applications in hospitals, space travel, and nuclear power plants. Geurkov is passionate about increasing fault tolerance and the reliability of systems to make them safer. He believes in creating impactful research, with an emphasis on quality over quantity.
