Biography

Vicente Lechuga received his Doctorate of Education from the University of Southern California in 2005. He joined the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University in the fall of 2005. Dr. Lechuga teaches graduate level courses in higher education administration, policy, and diversity issues in postsecondary institutions. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has authored and/or edited multiple books. His recent work, 'Qualitative Inquiry in Higher Education Organization Policy Research', published by Routledge in 2017, explores innovative methodologies for conducting qualitative research in higher education policy. Currently, Dr. Lechuga chairs numerous doctoral and master's committees while actively contributing to his academic field through his research and teaching efforts.
