Biography

Vicki Galloway is Professor Emerita at the School of Modern Languages at Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in Spanish language and literature. She has served as the associate chair for graduate programs and directed the Language Business Technology (LBAT) overseas programs in Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru. Galloway has taught a diverse range of courses related to language, literature, business, film, and culture, with a focus on sustainable development, immigration, indigenous perspectives, and intercultural communication. Rowe Stamps Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her research interests encompass communication, economic development, environmental ethics, and curriculum development, particularly in relation to Spanish studies and Latin American cultures.
