Biography

I teach Swedish as a foreign language for both students and staff, covering courses from beginner to advanced levels (A1-C1). Most of my teaching involves group instruction, although I also provide individual tutoring. I supervise students in academic writing at the Center for Academic Writing and Rhetoric (CAS). As a subject leader for courses in Swedish for Employees, I continuously work on developing existing courses and creating new formats. Additionally, I manage language cafés for employees and produce articles and materials for discussions. I am passionate about teaching, languages, literature, and translation. My academic focus is on Swedish and German, though I have also studied Italian, French, and literary translation. I have studied at universities in Sweden, Germany, and the USA, holding a master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Starting in October 2025, I will be on leave to teach at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in Germany.
