Biography

Associate Professor Vincent Cousins is a Principal Specialist and Head of the ENT-Otology Unit at Alfred Hospital, as well as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Monash University. With extensive experience in Otology and Lateral Skull Base Surgery since 1986, he has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His particular interests lie in surgical education and skills training, both in Australia and internationally. He serves as the Regional Secretary for the International Federation of Otolaryngologic Societies (IFOS) for Southeast Asia and Oceania, which encompasses one of six global regions. His research includes a focus on Acoustic Neuroma, Paraganglioma of the head and neck, Facial Palsy, Ear Trauma, and Lateral Skull Base Surgery.
