Biography

Wei-Ning (Winnie) Yang is a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at King's Business School, King's College London, since March 2017. Before joining King’s, she worked at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She earned her PhD in Business Management in 2016 and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from National Chengchi University (2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Management from National Tsinghua University (2007). Wei-Ning has extensive teaching experience in core Work Psychology topics for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including leadership, recruitment and selection, teamwork, work motivation, and stress at work. Her research interests are primarily focused on career management, specifically the factors influencing career plateau and their impact on individual work attitudes and behaviors. She employs longitudinal research designs to explore how employee age influences work performance and attitudes. Key publications include her studies on the relationship between career plateau and job performance, and the psychological effects of feeling stuck in a career.
