Biography

William Bonness is an Associate Professor at the Desautels Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba, where he heads the jazz area. A highly accomplished pianist, he has extensive performance experience, having toured internationally with Maynard Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band and performed in notable venues such as the Blue Note in New York City and Blues Alley in Washington, D.C.
